THERE IS MUCH TRUTH in the saying, “It’s never too late to learn something new.” Just because you think you have a nice locker room doesn’t mean it can’t be a lot better. I’ve visited fancy locker rooms with steam, sauna, whirlpool and a massage room but very lacking in sink and shower amenities; let alone the service expected and deserved.
ONE WAY TO IMPROVE is to see what other locker rooms in your area have to offer and how they do things. Contact other LRMs or GMs at local clubs to politely request a time for a visit. Can even be an annual event, like when we used to visit churches at Easter time in my Chicago neighborhod. Either way, it can be inspiritional for all when visiting other locker rooms.
